Facilitate were engaged by Citrix as the project manager for their new workplace project at 100 Mount Street in North Sydney’s growing CBD. Citrix is a global, forward-thinking company which aims to power a world where people and organizations are securely connected and accessible. With the standards of technology rising and the need to connect and access information from any where, the need for a functional and innovative workspace to support their staff is fundamental to Citrix’s success.
The project was a bold move for Citrix, not only relocating their staff from Macquarie Park where they were located for over 15 years, but also adopting activity-based working to attract new talent while retaining their current employees. The North Sydney location was selected to be closer to Citrix customers and to reenergise the culture of their office.
Our design partner, Gensler, developed the ‘Human-Citrix philosophy’ which places an emphasis on a human centered design framework. Manifesting this within the physical space the design is a strong and progressive workplace considering human perspectives through two lenses – the customer experience and the employee experience – empowering the future of work.
Juxtaposed to the entry and to the workplace is the Executive Briefing Centre (EBC). A hospitality feel with a retail twist including the implementation of progressive technology, the EBC is an energised and activated space, allowing customers and employees to discover, connect, collaborate and innovate.
In addition to the EBC, the 1,100 sqm fitout comprises of a boardroom, flexible training space, meeting rooms, phone booths and an open plan workspace and breakout area with sweeping views across Sydney Harbour. The project was completed over 17 weeks in partnership with FDC Construction, Gensler and Aston Consulting.
